Santa to open new $3 million revitalised Bulcock Street

Caloundra’s $3 million revitalised Bulcock Street will be officially opened by a special guest from the North Pole this  Saturday,  December 15.
The official Christmas in Caloundra celebrations will start at 8.30am, with Santa Claus to arrive at 9.15am.
Proudly supported by Sunshine Coast Council, in collaboration with the Caloundra Business Alliance, the free event at Downtown Caloundra is open to all.
Bulcock Street will be transformed into a Christmas wonderland, with roving entertainers, live music, face painting, sausage sizzles, along with free Santa photos.
Sunshine Coast Council’s Bulcock Street upgrade, which finished last month two weeks ahead of schedule, includes new trees, shrubs and footpaths, a reshaped roadway, additional street furniture, directional signage, public art and smart city technology.
This streetscape improvements are from Minchinton Street to the Knox Avenue intersection.
