The Sunshine Coast International Relations Panel is calling on all local businesses that are exporting internationally (or seriously considering exporting internationally) to participate in the 2012 Sunshine Coast Export Survey.
The survey will only take approximately 5 minutes to complete and can be anonymous if you wish.
Your responses will help all stakeholders to better understand the export activity currently taking place across the Sunshine Coast. Responses will also inform the development of future trade and export programs for our region. The survey results will help identify:
- Industries involved in exporting, key products/services, export markets, the value of exports and potential trends.
- Barriers to exporting (that are able to be influenced) and activities that will assist exporters.
- Willingness to share between exporters and the preferred format and structures.
The survey opened on Wednesday 1st of August 2012 and is due to close on Monday the 20th of August 2012.
The survey is the result of a collaboration between the Sunshine Coast International Relations Panel, Trade and Investment Queensland and is supported by the Sunshine Coast Council.
Peter Kelly, Business Development Manager of well known Sunshine Coast exporter Ritek Building Solutions would like to encourage fellow Sunshine Coast exporters to contribute to this survey. Peter represents Cleantech industries on the International Relations Panel and said “Information will remain strictly confidential and be used to identify barriers to international trade, profile the regions export activity, and to better understand exporters preferred communication channels to connect businesses and organisations engaged in international trade.”
Any queries regarding the survey and/or access to results please don’t hesitate in contacting Boardroom Business
