Our Team
Andrew Eves-Brown
Executive Director
Andrew Eves-Brown is the inaugural CEO/Project Director of F&B precinct Turbine. He was also recently successfully appointed as Chairperson of the Sunshine Coast Regional Jobs Committee and on the board for RDA Moreton Bay & Sunshine Coast.
Andrew has more than 20 years of FMCG experience across general management, supply chain and operations, and most recently, as head of economic development at the Sunshine Coast Council, where he supported the region through the Regional Economic Development Strategy review, its post-pandemic recovery, and championed the ‘fabric’ industry group collaborative framework for the region and the UNESCO sustainability goals through the Sunshine Coast Biosphere.
In his previous role of CEO of COYO, Andrew drove the strategy that established its products as a premium brand and saw the company quadruple in volume during his three-and-a-half-year tenure.
Before COYO, he held the role of COO at Gourmet Garden for 11 years, where he helped grow the business from $20 million to $100 million before the company sold to McCormick. Andrew is passionate about driving strategic, sustainable and successful growth and outcomes across the Sunshine Coast region.
Tracey Coobula
Acting CEO
Tracey Coobula has over 20 years’ experience in Australia and the UK specialising in Marketing, Communications and Workforce Development.
Before migrating to the Sunshine Coast, Tracey held positions at Starlight Children’s Foundation as the National Marketing Executive and Navitas, in the English Language and Careers & Industry divisions as MarComms Manager.
On the Sunshine Coast, Tracey worked for successful start-ups atmail and Zone RV, before going on to be the Marketing Manager for Visit Sunshine Coast. In 2020 she was successfully awarded the Study Sunshine Coast contract which she held for almost 4 years. In this role she managed both state and local LGA funding to deliver their flagship employability and wellbeing program for students, she also set-up the Youth Innovation Sunshine Coast (YISC) advisory group, delivered the Mayor’s Telstra Innovation Awards in 2022/23, and created the Sunshine Coast Jobs Hub and Student Jobs Hubs.
Tracey then moved into a local government role, utilising these skills as the Industry Development Lead – Knowledge Economy and Talent for Sunshine Coast Council where she also completed her Australian Certified Economic Developer (ACEcD) accreditation, before taking on the role of Project Manager for the Sunshine Coast Regional Jobs Committee looking after workforce development for the region. Utilising her workforce and communications skills she is now Acting CEO for RDAMBSC.
