Learn cyber privacy essentials at USC workshop

The University of the Sunshine Coast (USC) Institute for Cyber Investigations and Forensics and the Innovation Centre Sunshine Coast are hosting a Cyber Security and Privacy Essentials for Small Business Workshop on Monday, May 13 from 12.30-2.15pm.
The event, to be held at the Innovation Centre, heralds the launch of Privacy Awareness Week 2019. The Office of the Information Commissioner will officially kick-off proceedings.
The workshop is aimed at providing local businesses with expert advice on how to embed positive privacy practice and cyber safety into planning and day-to-day operations.
Cyber security and privacy law experts who will be on hand include Professor David Lacey, Chair of Cyber Security at USC; Leah Mooney, Senior Legal Officer at USC and Special Counsel on Cyber Security to Minter Ellison; and Connie McIntosh, Manager of Cyber Security Operations at the USC Institute for Cyber Investigations and Forensics.
Cost is $25 and a light lunch is included.
