The GI Challenge is a challenge of youth entrepreneurship for local 15-25 year olds.
Young people – some of whom are armed with ideas and others simply have a pep in their step – are now applying to be part of the competition which starts on 14 March.
All participants will work in teams and receive training and mentoring on how to start their own business, with successful teams making a pitch before receiving seed capital to get their ventures off the ground.
When: Saturday, 14 March 2015
Where: Sunshine Coast Airport
See www.generationinnovation.com.au for details
How to register
Young people can self-register online: www.generationinnovation.com.au/entrepreneurs
For youth, education, training and employment services providers, complete the GI Challenge Registration Form with the young person and email to the crew at the GI Challenge.
Support from local businesses
If you or your business are interested in helping unleash the innovative genius of young people on the Sunshine Coast, Generation Innovation is calling for donations which will create the pool of capital from which seed-funding for the new ventures will be drawn.
