Community groups to benefit from land grab

Calling all community groups!
Sunshine Coast Council is seeking partnership proposals to ensure the best use of three land parcels in Birtinya (pictured), Brightwater and Currimundi. Council has opened an Expression of Interest process to determine the future of the following land parcels: A 5,003m2 lot at Shine Court, Birtinya, a 5,000m2 lot at Brightwater Boulevard, Mountain Creek and a 1,620m2 lot of 31 Bellara Drive, Currimundi.
Local not-for-profit organisations are invited to attend an information session at Venue 114, on next Tuesday, July 2 at 10am.

The three sites were made available as part of an agreement with Stockland Pty Ltd to set aside land to be used by the Brightwater, Birtinya and Currimundi communities.
