Up to $10,000 up for grabs in Mayor’s Telstra Innovation Awards

Time is running out to enter the Mayor’s Telstra Innovation Awards 2019, presented by Sunshine Coast Council, to share in the more than $10,000 in prizes up for grabs.
What’s more, the winning team and Outstanding Female Entrepreneur will receive an all-expenses-paid Telstra Experience in Sydney.
The awards, proudly supported by Regional Development Australia Sunshine Coast via #SCRIPT, are open to students from years 10-12 in teams of three, from high schools located in the Sunshine Coast LGA in 2019.
Entries for phase one of the award, which charges teams with the task of developing an original technological idea or concept/solution, close April 5. The awards are aimed at encouraging innovative and creative use of technology.
It could be a new app, new concepts in social media, gaming technology or robotics. It could even be a smarter phone, watch or digital camera, or a revolutionary new idea for transport, health, agriculture and more.
