The Curate Plate: Australia’s newest food festival launches on Coast this August

Talk about gastro-porn: The Curated Plate, a new four-day destination culinary festival is launching on the Sunshine Coast from August 5-18, 2019.
A collaboration between Fairfax Events and Entertainment, Visit Sunshine Coast, Sunshine Coast Council and Tourism and Events Queensland, the event will celebrate regional produce and chef expertise.
It is aimed at showcasing unforgettable, curated dining experiences in the most spectacular of natural environments.
In addition, the food festival celebrates the relationship between the chef and producer, bringing together the region’s finest native ingredients, that grow courtesy of the Sunshine Coast’s incredibly rich and beautiful volcanic land, with the best chefs in the Australian and international dining scene.
The festival offers everything from fine dining in the custom-built Restaurant on Mooloolaba Beach, to alfresco dining in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. With more than 50 events between August 5-18, it’s time to book your next culinary adventure.
