TEDxNoosa 2015 jam-packed with inspiring ideas

The first round of speakers has been announced for TEDxNoosa who will discuss a wide range of topics that are set to feed curious minds.

Following the sellout success of the past two annual events, TEDxNoosa 2015 will be jam packed with 15 speakers presenting over four sessions, videos, entertainment, an Innovation Alley, interactive art and displays.

Regional Development Australia Sunshine Coast CEO Russell Mason said the world-class annual event addressed important themes for the region, community, partners and the planet.

“We are proud to partner with TEDxNoosa, an organisation driven by local volunteers and speakers who freely share their wisdom and ideas,” he said.

TEDxNoosa was initiated in 2013 to create a world-class stage in a local setting to inspire regional innovation and unearth the best ideas on the Sunshine Coast. It aims to:

  • Inspire new ideas and positive change on the Sunshine Coast.
  • Incubate future possibilities for the region through the ideas of extraordinary people connected to the Coast.

TEDxNoosa 2015 speaker 2015 line-up includes:

  • John Cantor, Arctic adventurer
  • Louise King, cellist
  • Jim Gall, Professor of Design at Queensland University of Technology
  • Sally Hookey, local small scale organic farmer
  • Stephanie Moroz, Ceo of Nano-Nouvelle
  • Ted O’Brien, community leader
  • Josh Jensen, marine biologist
  • Jess Abraham, publisher
