Sunshine Coast Council is inviting tenders to provide a free 12-month WiFi trial in multiple public spaces across the region.
The anticipated start of the trial is 1 October 2012.
As part of their response to this Invitation to Offer, suppliers are required to identify proposed locations for the trial that include a mix of hinterland and coastal sites. They are encouraged to include innovative technology, additional partners or financial models.
The trial is designed to limit the total cost to Council and rate payers.
