Sunshine Coast BizExpo 2012 – Premier Sunshine Coast Business Event

Former Tasmanian Premier David Bartlett will kick off the 2012 Sunshine Coast Business Expo as keynote speaker for the opening breakfast on Thursday, 10 May.

Mr Bartlett will discuss the implications of high speed broadband and its impact on the way Sunshine Coast businesses create wealth, communicate with customers and solve problems.

The two-day expo features a comprehensive program of keynote presentations, workshops, seminars, exhibitions and networking opportunities.

Entry to the exhibition hall is free, with about 60 trade exhibitors showcasing a diverse range of industries.

Other keynote speakers include:

• Media editor, businesswoman and best-selling author Ita Buttrose will share her experiences on how to make the most of life’s opportunities and succeed beyond expectations at Thursday’s lunch.
• A mystery guest at the Chamber Alliance networking breakfast on the Friday morning.
• Former Australian Wallabies rugby captain John Eales talks leadership at Friday’s lunch.

There are a variety of 45-minute workshops on offer on both days, covering business success, customer service, social media, the Sunshine Coast Airport expansion, legislation updates and mining industry opportunities. The Sunshine Coast Business Expo is presented by Signature Events, part of the Maroochydore Chamber of Commerce.
