Sunshine Coast Airport welcomes second direct daily Qantas service from Sydney

The Sunshine Coast Airport continues its stellar run in 2018, after Qantas has announced a second direct service between Sydney and the Coast.
The new daily Qantas service is aimed at meeting growing passenger demand.
It is expected to begin in March 2019 and has been timed to connect the Sunshine Coast to the extensive Qantas international network over Sydney to Europe, America, Asia and the Pacific.
The Sunshine Coast Airport was recently named Australia’s fastest growing airfield.
And the Qantas decision comes in the wake of the new runway currently under construction at Sunshine Coast Airport, due to be opened in 2020.
The new Qantas service is scheduled to leave Sydney at 10.30am and arrive at Sunshine Coast Airport at 12.05pm. It will depart Sunshine Coast at 12.45pm, arriving in Sydney 2.30pm.
