The Sunshine Coast Regional Innovation Program (#SCRIPT) is continuing to fuel the culture of innovation in the region by investing in innovative programs which make a difference to our community.
Proudly supported by Sunshine Coast Council, Noosa Council and Regional Development Australia (RDA) Sunshine Coast, along with project partners, SCRIPT was awarded $1 million over three years to develop innovation and entrepreneurial activities across the region.
It is a collaboration of local entrepreneurs, businesses, government stakeholders and community members dedicated to entrepreneurial activity, resulting in more jobs and a boosted economy.
SCRIPT’s latest projects include supporting the QODE Festival at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, from April 2-3.
QODE is aimed at being an exciting fusion of festival and conference formats for both creators and leaders in innovation and technology. Visit https://qodebrisbane.com/tickets.
Next up, SCRIPT has proudly invested in The Refinery, a creative incubator designed to transform ideas into sustainable businesses.
Register to be a part of The Refinery Bootcamp, held from May 11-12. Up to 30 projects will be selected to take part in this intensive workshop where experienced mentors will work with creatives to help them assess, test and refine their proposed business ideas.
From there, 15 projects will proceed through to The Refinery Incubator program. Want to find out more? Visit https://www.therefinerysunshinecoast.com.
