Regional Development Australia (RDA) Sunshine Coast is conducting a number of RDA Fund community forums with a wide and diverse range of not-for-profit organisations (NFPs) attending the Tewantin and Nambour forums last week to learn valuable information about the $1B national fund and application process.
The community forums are designed to provide Sunshine Coast organisations with the information required to make submissions to the RDA Fund.
The RDA Fund is an Australian Government initiative from regional development Minister Simon Crean which will provide a much needed financial boost to regions such as the Sunshine Coast.
The RDA Fund workshops are an opportunity to share information with the community and discuss real solutions to regional issues. Community consultation forms the basis of RDA Sunshine Coast’s work program. It enables us to identify projects that are close to the heart of our regional communities and discuss ways we can make them happen.
The workshop series is proving to be very popular with around 100 not-for-profit groups across the Sunshine Coast region signing up to participate.
For individuals and NFPs that don’t want to miss this opportunity there are still three workshops to be held in Maroochydore, Caloundra and Maleny on Wednesday 20th April.
