The Department of Regional Australia has had a very strong response to the call for applications under Round One of the Regional Development Australia Fund (RDAF).
All applications received by the Department are currently being assessed. It is important that all applications are assessed thoroughly. Due to the large number of applications, the assessment process is taking longer than expected.
The independent RDAF Advisory Panel is in place and will be preparing advice for the Minister on the most meritorious applications.With funding available from today, we expect the assessment process to continue and announcements to follow.
