Local workshop tackles gendered violence

Local business owners are being urged to learn how to keep their staff safe at Leadership Outlook 2019: Creating a safe and respectful workplace, a national series of practical workshops that tackle gendered violence as a workplace issue.
Presented by the Institute of Managers and Leaders Australia and New Zealand, in partnership with White Ribbon, the event is aimed at providing a forum for employers to learn how to support employees who are experiencing domestic violence, bullying or harassment in or out of the workplace.
The Sunshine Coast workshop is at the Best Western Plus Lake Kawana Hotel on Thursday, March 28 from noon-2pm.
Local panellists will be Chris Turner from Sunny Kids and Janine Lee from Domestic Violence Business Solutions.
