The Department of Treasury has released Backing Small Business: Creating jobs, opportunity and growth, a handbook of the support programs and advice that the Australian Government and its agencies provide for small business. This handbook will be a useful resource for Regional Development Australia Committees.
The Backing Small Business handbook covers topics relevant to small businesses ranging from tax reforms and simplification, cutting red tape, employment and training, to supporting regional small businesses and exporting.
Copies of the handbook are available on the Hon Michael McCormack MP, Minister for Small Business website.
