Regional Development Australia (RDA) Sunshine Coast is hosting free information sessions next week to outline details of the National Stronger Regions Fund which targets regional projects that deliver priority economic development and small scale community infrastructure.
Round One of the Fund is now open and provides local community projects with between $20,000 and $10 million, covering up to 50 per cent of project costs.
RDA Sunshine Coast Chair Prof Max Standage said the Fund provided opportunities for local communities to identify key projects, ranging from transport projects to the development of sports and community facilities.
“We encourage business and community groups to attend next week’s information sessions to find out about the types of project proposals sought, the application process, and partnership opportunities.”
