The Australian Smart Communities Association (ASCA) and the Australian Government have partnered to deliver a series of Future Ready webinars to kick-start communities’ digital transformation journeys.
ASCA President Michael Whereat said the webinars would explore smart city case studies from global leaders, share tips and tricks of digital success, investigate new business models, and talk citizen-centric design.
“We are excited to deliver these webinars with the support of the Australian Government to help nurture collaboration and build our communities’ smart cities strategic planning and delivery capabilities,” he said.
“This series will bring together local government, industry, research organisations and innovators from across Australia, encouraging knowledge sharing, new partnerships and active learning.”
Future Ready complements the Australian Government’s Smart Cities and Suburbs Program by supporting local governments and their communities to collaborate with industry to formulate smart city ideas and projects.
