Free Wi-Fi is available for businesses across the Sunshine Coast to develop new ways to attract new customers to grow their businesses.
Sunshine Coast Council invites businesses with public Wi-Fi to register their location and provide feedback. These businesses can attract more customers by registering on the central database and mapping service, allowing residents and visitors to quickly locate and access the nearest appropriate Wi-Fi service.
Council has partnered with local company Big Air Community Broadband to provide free Wi-Fi, with more than 32,000 local residents and visitors using the service each month across 32 access points including:
- Council’s libraries and three galleries
- Council’s tourist parks at Coolum, Mooloolaba, Maroochydore, Cotton Tree and Mudjimba
- Council courtyards at Caloundra and Nambour
- Cotton Tree and Coolum business precinct open spaces
- Mooloolaba Esplanade.
