Mr Ridd (pictured) shared some of his insights in an interview following his keynote presentation at the Caloundra Chamber of Commerce’s Better Business Breakfast last week which attracted around 140 people.

He said while Cloud was the most disruptive shift in technology, it had lowered the barrier to entry for small businesses to be able to “punch above their weight”.

With 20 years of experience in the IT industry, Chris discussed technology driving business processes and what digital innovation businesses could expect in the future to help create more efficient and profitable business processes.

RDA Sunshine Coast CEO Russell Mason said Mr Ridd’s presentation was very insightful on the future for the Sunshine Coast to use Cloud-based services to increase productivity and reduce costs.

“Our region can become a leader in new technology deployment and innovation by tapping into the benefits of these advance technologies.”

Stephen Clark from Sparx Digital filmed an interview with Chris Ridd after the Better Business Breakfast networking event to discuss digital business and where is was going to take us in the future.
